Continuing the cross-border experience exchange on nearly zero energy buildings (nZEBs), University of Pécs hosted the 2nd study tour on June 4, 2018 in Pécs with participation of guests from Croatia and Hungary. Similarly to the Varazdin event, the Croatian side was represented by students and representatives of University North along with in-house experts of Regional Energy Agency North, the Lead Beneficiary of the V-educa 2 project. Representing the Hungarian side, participants were of the project partners (South Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency Nonprofit and Pécs University) staff, along with students from Pécs University participating to the event. The scope of the study visit was to showcase private and public nearly zero energy buildings: the „Reborn Home“ as the 1st Hungarian family house refurbishment into an smart energy-plus active house, and the building of the Blood Transfusion Centre of Pécs being constructed from European Union grants for public use. As the closing part of the study visit, the research labs of the Pécs University conducting nZEB related activities were introduced.
